You want to know the truth?

Its been an exciting last few weeks. The selling of my apartment has lead to a great deal of amusement (on my part). I have been the subject of many rumours some pleasent some not so throughout the years and i have learnt to accept them as a part of my life. The sale of my apartment has however lead to a great deal of interesting speculation. First out was a FB friend wishing me good luck in Stockholm. I have apparently got tired of ”little” Kalmar and need a bigger town to live in. Rumour two. A face in the crowd at Harrys wished me well on my return to London. ” Tired of Sweden” needs the London pulse again was the reason according to this informer. Both of these rumours i guess could be reached by some kind of logical guess work. The next two however are both plucked from outer space.

Informant number three! I hear that you have met the love of your life and are moving in together. My first question was do you have a name? Yes. OK who? It´s – - – - – . Thanks for the information. Two weeks later and yet another FB friend sending their utmost congratulations on finding a new ”life partner” !!! OK i said i have already heard that one! Good luck with – - – - – - -. Who? i said. It was a different name to the one given by informant three.

I am not really sure what to make of all of the speculation. Should i take it as a compliment that people are really interested in where i am moving to or is it just a bunch of sad people who find it amusing to make things up and spread them as fact. On this occasion there is no harm done. Assuming of course my clients in Kalmar dont believe the first two rumours and start buying their products from another supplier in town!
