Wahlgrens ”second chance” !

Back on track. Up at 7.00 long breakfast then 3 hours watching a Swedish sporting classic. ”Vasaloppet” 90km cross country skiing. 15900 competitors and the winning time this year was 4 hours 2 mins 59 secs. Every year on the first sunday in march its time for the skiing fanatics to have their day in the sun (snow in this case). Swedish televisions coverage of the event is to say the least thourough. Everyone who has ever cross country skied and works for SVT sport was covering todays event. Even my old mate David Fjäll was called upon.Not to sure about his Cross Country Skiing skills. It cant however be easy covering an event that takes more than 4 hours when most of the time nothing really happens. It even makes Cricket look exciting for the uninitiated.

Sunday lunch and walk time. Sunshining and around + 5 degrees. 6 km today at a good pace and lots of time to mentally plan for the next few weeks. Loads to sort out. Lansdowne.se Golf, improving ”King of the Castle” and working on the football/golf trips for the autumn. On top of that the Swedish football season starts next saturday and my predicted outcome for 2010 needs to be finalised this week.

I bet Pernilla is happy she chose the ”second chance” event and reached the final at the Globe next week. She did however miss the other ”second chance” event for Laila and Niclas.

I have now heard all the finalists in this years Swedish Melodifestival. Anna Bergendahl´s ”This is my life” is my winner.
