Terry has many Bridges to mend

1o predictions right in the first week of the Swedish Championships for tipsters. A solid start with my old club West Ham letting me down by not winning at home to Blackburn. Middlesbrough and Fulham were my other 2 misses. I watched the Birmingham – Tottenham game and bits of Fulham – A Villa. Not a great day for entertaining football but a good 25 mins from David Elm in which he scored from what turned out to be an offside position. He looked the part as a second half target man creating a few chances and leading the line well.

The biggest news from England today is that John Terry the England and Chelsea captain has apparently had an affair with his ex team mate Wayne Bridges french girlfriend. Its first page stuff and the Tiger Woods affair seems very insignificant in comparison. Capello is furious and the British footballing public want Terry sacked as England captain and even left out of the squad for the world cup this summer . Wayne Bridge had no comments to make but Chelsea say they are standing by Terry as usual. John Terry who incidently was voted ”Father of the year” in England 2009 and it never ceases to amaze me how stupid some people are. JT knows as well as anyone else with his status that everything he gets involved in will eventually find its way into the newspapers or onto the internet. Having an affair with your team mates girlfriend is probably as low and as stupid as you can get in the close-knit world of football. He will have lost the respect of his team mates and i am sure even his club can´t condone this sort of behaviour.

I was thinking of watching Kalmar FF´s pre season friendly against Åtvidaberg earlier today but -8 degrees and a cold wind meant that Biggy Wiggy and i chose a pizza buffet at Pizzeria Italia instead.

Early start tomorrow. I am helping Juniors club Lindsdals IF do the stock taking at City Gross. Home in time for the Arsenal – United game i hope!
