Shampoo girls and Darin make finals.

I had to give it a chance! The Swedish ” Melodifestivalen” to decide who will represent the country in the Eurovision Song Contest. I had only ever heard of three of the contestants Darin, Elin Lanto and Alcazar and now i know why. A girl band called Timoteij went straight to the final in Stockholm and when i heard the song for a second time i liked it. A catchy little number that could have been written by Nordman. The second finalist was of course Darin who is so popular that he could have sung a ”Brandsta City Släckers” cover and made it through. Dolph Lundgrens scetch had a few good moments and Blue Men Group were different. They looked like 3 viagra tablets with legs! Måns Zelmerlöw does a good job as the co host but Chrsitine Meltzer´s script writer has had better days.

Now Olympics night. Sweden – Finland meet in Ice Hockey at 6 tomorrow morning!

Chelsea impressed, Arsenal were below par and Man Utd were poor.

Only 3 weeks to go to the start of the Swedish football season. First out Kalmar FF – IFK Göteborg. Another 10 cm of snow today and more to come. I doubt the game will be played at Fredriksskans.
