Rädda Willy

Another freezing day in Kalmar by the sea. The sea is now turning to ice and i am already worrying about the golf season starting later than ever! Last year i was out in Febuary this year i would imagine we are looking at an easter start! I will have to give my old mate Stuart a call and see if he needs any help getting his pub ready for the summer season in Mallorca! and take my clubs with me.

Friday afternoon and i was thinking that an afterwork Staropramen would finish the week of nicely. It wasn´t to be! Firstly i couldn´t find a drinking partner and due to the biting cold weather there was not a soul in town. A bite to eat with Silver sounded good and he turned up with 2 pizzas and informed me that we would be watching ”Lets Dance”. I must admit i am not a big LD fan i did however catch Peppe in the first season and Paddy in the second but haven´t watched it since.

After sitting through the whole 2 hours i was reminded why i haven´t been a fan.  A couple of foot notes however. Firstly i never thought i´d see Victoria Svensson in high heels! or Peter Wahlbeck (probably for the first time ever) in a sensible mood and he subsequently performed well. Others can obviously dance and are not that interesting to watch. Every year as i understand it they have a joker (clown) in the group. This year it was the turn of ”Bygglovs Willy”. Thats what i call entertainment. He danced like a carpenter should. He was well drilled by has partner and they nailed every measured move. Willys chisled looks and level headed performance means that it would be a big wrench if he is voted out next week. I for one liked what i saw.
