PK stole the show

I knew it would be a good´n and boy was i right. The xmas party for the ”usual suspects” always has high expectations and this years event definately delivered the goods.

15.30 start at Harrys meant 16.00 before everyone had arrived. Debutant Colorama Christer was the only one on time. We started off with a local/general knowledge quiz. I had put together 10 reasonably easy questions, varying in difficulty from what year ”Ölandsbron” opened to what Tiger and Elins 2 kids are called. The contestants are all reasonably well educated and have knowledge in varying fields and i was expecting 5 or maybe 6 out of 10 to be the winning score. I was wrong. What ever fields they have there knowledge my questions were definatley not applicable. I wont mention the winning result i will just give you the winner (after a playoff) Colorama Christer.

A couple of pints later and after watching Fulham destroy Man Utd we jumped in the taxis and headed for Hotell Brofästet. Flobbers who missed the quiz arrived just after us and we were now all in place and seated in prime position. 4 Flavours is the band that have been performing this years Xmas show ”Revival” and it has been a great success. I was there opening night and now had the priveledge of seeing there farewell show and they didn´t dissapoint me. Even our most reserved ”suspects” were on their feet showing their appreciation. PK was in great form and his Johnny be good dance number was a site for sore eyes. Great food, first class service and Silver was more than satisfied with events.

We were invited back stage after the show (i am not actually sure if we were invited) and joined the band was a glass or 2 of bubbly. Uffe B found a new friend from his home town, Åke 7 found a new favourite singer and PK found another Norrlands Guld. An hour later and we were back at Harrys for our last leg. HIO Holm and Flobbers had already done enough on their debuts to warrant an invite for 2010 and didn´t make the trip back to Harrys.

Everyone had a great night and when i left for home at 2.00 there were a few of the ”usual suspects” still going strong.
