”Old timers” visit Bergkvara AIF

Bergkvara AIF were yesterday guested by Biggy Wiggy, Paddy, Lansdowne JR and SR. Not a surprise in any way baring in mind PK is their trainer. But when the players arrived and saw us in Bergkvara´s training kit they probably wondered if a new docusoap had been created. The title could have been ”all our yesterdays” or ”those were the days” or even ”Jurassic Park Småland”. Regardless of the BAIF players thoughts we had a great session. Biggy was as graceful as ever Paddy was in great ”nutmeg” form and i did my best. Junior looked as if he was enjoying playing again and after PK had a quick chat it was agreed that he will play the last 7 league games for Bergkvara.

Both myself and Biggy managed the whole session Paddy unfortunately felt a hamstring twinge and had to sit out the last 40 mins. If only he had done his ”pre-season” at ”Stensö” like the rest of us. After Bergkvara we made our way into town and an after training meal at ”Gröna Stugan” followed by a few beers and then ”Krögers” for a few more beers.

Levski Sofia were to strong for Kalmar FF and were probably not the least bit dissapointed to be drawn against AIK in the next round. Elfsborg were on the other hand not as happy to be drawn againt Napoli.

Fabregas staying at Arsenal probably means a longer stay for Zlatan at Barcelona.

”Kalmar Stadtsfest” is under way and some ”Hardrock” band is playing about 100 m from my appartment. I have never been a hardrock fan and now i remember why!

Friday night and 2 Flavours farewell appearence at Byttan tonight. Myself and the ”usual suspects” + Paddy will be in place and whats the betting we end up at Harrys later in the evening?
