Getting to old for this!

It was a long weekend that started well with my run on saturday morning and finished with a very tired 50 year old falling asleep at 22.00 sunday evening. I guess i am not the party animal i once was. 17.00 saturday and a few drinks with Silver and Colorama Christer at Harrys before moving on to the annual ” Guldfest”. This years venue was the local sports hall. It doesn´t sound that glamorous but ”Partykompaniet” had done a great job with the decor design. I would never have guessed i was seated just outside the penalty on the five a side pitch. All the usual suspects were in place and enjoying the event. Adam Alsing is a quality act always relaxed and quick witted. Anna Soltorp is i am sure a competent business woman but definately looked out of place as the co-host. ”Tre Drag” as the house band delivered as always. Lasse Berghagen has his 3 songs that we all know and love and thats about it. All in all an enjoyable evening.  Taxi to Harrys where i met up with Biggy Wiggy, Junior and other well known faces. A few shots and Vodka Dajms later and it was time to make the 200 m walk home.

Sunday was a TV day. Viasat Golf and Göran Zachrisson hosting the Dubai Desert Classic was as entertaining as ever and then Junior arrived at 16.50 just in time for Chelsea – Arsenal. Chelsea have Drogba who is one of the worlds best forwards. Arsenal haven´t got a forward at the moment. Arsenal created as many chances as Chelsea and at times played some great stuff but have to many players that dont perform in the big games. Walcott is one of them and i am now wondering if Arshavin has what it takes. You can say what u want about John Terry but there can´t be many who question his ability. I am not a goalkeeping expert but shouldn´t  Almunia have made a better effort with Drogbas 2-0 goal?
