Confident Kalmar fans!

Spring was definately in the (Kalmar) air today. Sunshine and +degrees. Unfortunately i was indoors all day at Kalmar Science Parks HQ out at Varvsholmen. Fortunately the offices at Varvsholmen have some fantastic views overlooking Öland and the open sea. Everyone seemed to be in a great mood probably due to the sun and business moved along nicely. Sir William Promotion AB was presenting its new product line for 2010 and it seemed to be well appreciated.

Apart from the sun the major topic of conversation was Kalmar FF´s first league game this coming saturday. IFK Göteborg are first up and it seems that Kalmar FF´s fans mentality has changed a lot over the last few years. Its no longer ”i hope we can keep the score down” or ”a point would be a good start” its now ”Santos and Mendes are far to quick for Göteborgs defenders” and ” captain Henke will dominate the midfield”. All in all 3 points seems to be in the bag.

Lasse J sent me a message from Italy where he is skiing untill sunday. I wonder if he is missing ”Allsvensk” football?

TV4´s ”Tipslördag” are sending the game live and this his two side effects. 1: A lot of people will stay at home and watch the game on TV. 2: Paddy will be visiting Ernestos with Lansdowne.se and ”the usual suspects” saturday evening. 

”Snäckan” is also on his way to Kalmar/Öland this weekend for a class reunion.

Arsenal – Porto tonight. No Fabregas no chance.

Wigan 1 – Liverpool 0. Benitez can no longer get the best out of his players. Gerrard and Torres both threw their dummies away last night and Liverpool threw in the towell.
