Bye bye Wayne and Team Sweden

Team Sweden hockey were beaten 4-3 by Slovakia. As predicted ”Foppas” line chipped in with a couple of goals and keeper Henke let in 4 goals! SVT´s hockey expert was to say the least unhappy about the result. Niklas Wikegård wondered why there was no plan B or C! Considering how plan A went i am not sure B or C would have changed things! Assuming plan A was actually the best plan. If you follow my logic!

Congratulations to Barbro Peiper. She has now 3 days out of 3 in ”KOTC” and will definately be a threat in March.

So Wayne Bridge has decided to call it a day for England. Sighting the fact that quote ”my position in the squad is now untenable and potentially divisive”. What? Did he really use those words or was it  Tiger Woods script writer freelancing? Whatever the reason i personally feel its a shame that he will miss the opportunity of performing on the biggest stage a fotballer can accertain. Some of the comments made on the subject on diverse blogs are interesting, some cruel and others borderline.

One of the more interesting/borderline comments: ”What a complete prat. He should grow up, so what, somebody gave your ex a good shafting mate, get over it and grow up. He’s a crap player anyway and is only close to the squad because of injuries and a lack of decent players in that position”.  JT
