Backe has a hill to climb!

”Backe together with Svennis”! That could be the ”Suns” headline for tomorrow. This time at Notts County. I really hope he knows what is required to get results at this level! Its not about the best tactition or the most well organised side or even buying some big names. Its all about attitude and man management. I have played at this level and believe me its hard. The talented players get kicked of the park. Most of the squad feel they are of  a premier league standard but have  had a few tough breaks and will have the ”what the fuck does the swede know” attitude. The referees are not of the highest standard and a lot of pitches are at the best uneven. Its a long time since Hasse Backe has coached players at this level and i wish him all the best. If he gets them promotion to the Championship in the 3 years he has been contracted it will be amongst his best ever achievements.

What a night at Fredriksskans. 5-4 to Kalmar FF against Malmö FF. Ofere 2, Larsson 2 for MFF and Dauda 2, Sobralense 2 for Kalmar! A great game for strikers a day off aparently for defenders. It now looks like Kalmar will finish 4th and make Europe again. They might even end up as top scorers again this season.

The hunt for the ”King of the Castle” goes on. Both PK and Jacob will be battling it out again tomorrow.

Hysén with his 2 goals has kept the Allsvenskan alive. I hope he has more success on his next trip out to the bigger leagues! He deserves it.

Michael Owen scored against Barnsley in the league cup with a copy of Hyséns opener against Halmstad. I love goals with quality written all over them.

AIK next up tomorrow. Their biggest problem now is avoiding yellow cards  in their match against Örebro. They have 5 players just a yellow from suspension. Do they rest key players tomorrow or not? Not an easy one to call.
