An expensive ”road trip”!

A working ”road trip” yesterday that cost me 1500 kr. I got a ticket for speeding! 100km in a 90km zone. At the same time on the radio i heard that the amount of unsolved crimes in Sweden is at an all time high. Not really surprising if seven (7) police officers are pulling over people that are driving 10 km over the speed limit.

Always nice to see the Nilsson family in Båstad. Good company, good food and always good advice on hand. Earlier in the day we stopped in at Örjansvall and had a chat with Tobbe Arvidsson a former team mate a friend since the 80´s.

Back in Kalmar and the ”usual suspects” were all in place at Stensö for our evening run. Biggy Wiggy had bought new running shoes and looked very professional. 3,2 km today and 13mins 55 secs was my finishing time. I felt heavy legged but managed to keep ”plodding” along untill the end. Strange that i felt heavy legged when i was 1500 kr lighter!!

Lots of ”Silly Season” chat on the net today. Zlatan to Milan and Fagregas to Barcelona are two of the most talked about. Another interesting rumour is Benayoun leaving Liverpool for Chelsea for 6 million pound. That would be the bargain of the year if it goes through. The Serb Nikola Zigic has signed for Birmingham and will be interesting to follow. Taller than Peter Crouch and with a great goal scoring record he could also be one of the close seasons better buys.

Never a good sign when a player wins to easily in the early rounds of a ”Grand Slam”. Söderling could be in for a shock in round 3. Albert Montanes from Spain is no easy match.
