A perfect exhibition!

Another sign that summer is over is our annual autumn ”exhibition”. Promotion Expo at Elmia in Jönköping. Snäckan, Noodles and myself have all passed our 10th anniversary and even Junior is a 5 year veteran. Thursday morning around 9.45 and we are off and running. We visit as many ”stands” as possible in our efforts to find that new product that will make our fortune. Most ”suppliers” have the same collection as before with maybe a new colour in their T-Shirt assortment. A few of our regular suppliers are in great form and seem to enjoy our visit others were so uninterested i wonder why they even work in sales. We follow our ”exhibition rules” and avoid alcohol untill 16.00 (Noodles and myself at least) and have achieved our day one target. The evening consists of a ”sauna session” a visit to O´Learys for baby back ribs and a few Staros and then Karlssons before hitting the sack. After a late visit to the hot dog stand of course.

Day two and our ”stands per minute” ratio is not anywhere near day one. 13.00 and i am off on the road to Kalmar. 19.00 and its Kalmar FF – IFK Norrköping. The game was not a memorable one untill the last 10 mins when Kalmar went from 2-0 to 5-0. IFK Norrköping looked like a side that are heading towards the Superettan. We (”The usual suspects”) decided that (5-0) celebrations were in order. Krögers, Harrys and of course the obligatory late ”hot dog” before visiting the land of Nod.
