Friday afternoon and i am happy with my weeks contribution to the world of Corporate Clothing and Gift Item sales. Spoke to my business partner ”Snäckan” earlier today and he indicated that a beer or two as recognition of my weeks efforts would be justified. So i am off to the gym now! 30 mins work out with Biggy and then meet up with Silver at 18.00! I spoke to Dennis ”meatballs” Nilsson earlier today and have booked a meeting with him to find out all about Kalmar FF´s new stadium and the clubs plans for the future. I drove past the ”Golden Bird” stadium earlier today and its starting to take form. Even the training ground is coming along nicely.

The ”Consultant” just called from Helsingborg and ordered even more T-Shirts. ”Mycket Gutt” was all i could say!

I was never a big fan of Rafa Benitez and i have been dissappointed with both the players he has bought and the way they have played over the last few years. When he was sacked and they chose Roy Hodgson it was definately a step in the right direction. Last nights result however tells me there is a long way to go before Roy will make his mark at Liverpool. Losing to a Div 4 side like Northampton at Anfield is a dissaster even if they did have a lot of reserves in the side. There is obviously something very wrong at the club. Beating Liverpool at Anfield has always been a ”mission impossible” for opponents. The atmosphere at the stadium and their winning mentality has caused even top sides problems but recently teams like Reading and Northampton have left Anfield as winners. Something is wrong and needs to be fixed very quickly if Roy is to have an honest chance to succeed at the ”pool”.

15.30 today and it was Tee Time! Kalmar Golf Club´s ”old course”. Jr is now down to HCP 11.4 and i have 11.5 so it was all to play for today. I started with a solid par and Jr a triple bogey 6. After 9 holes i was 8 points up ahead and enjoying the afternoon stroll. We both started the back nine with 2 pars and on the 12th Tee i said to Jr i am aiming for 37 points so i can once again have the lowest HCP. Where did my drive end up on the 12th? No idea? Neither have i ? I hooked it into the trees and never saw it again. It was the only hole i didn´t score on and despite Jr´s 21 points on the back nine i ended up with a five points victory.

I am looking forward to the weekend. Silver has a house warming party on saturday. I might also have a ”quick” friday ”after work” beer with a few of the ”usual suspects” and of course watch a few Premier League games in between.

I have seen the Heineken advert loads of times but i still smile when i see the delight on the lads faces as they enter the ”walk in” Heineken closet. A brilliantly simple concept for an advert superbly delivered.

Another busy day at the office. I had planned to play 18 holes this afternoon but there was no chance of that. A good sign i guess. Jr and PK had time however and when i heard that Jr had 39 points (Stapleford) it was probably just as well i couldn´t get away. Another defeat would have been hard to take.

Biggy Wiggy joined me in the gym. After a quick warm up on the bike i got on the treadmill and was planning 3km in 15 mins. After 1.2 km i felt another hamstring twinge and stopped running. I might just have to visit Dr Johnny ahead of schedule. I did however manage a 20 mins gym session.

18.45 and the ”usual suspects” were gathered at Harrys. AIK – Kalmar FF on pay per view TV was the agenda. Åke 7, Åke Uggla, Uffe B, Silver, Biggy, Jr and Gullabo Emil all looking forward to seeing the Red Machine steam roller AIK. 5 mins before kick off and with a Staropramen in hand we were looking forward to cheering FF on. 20 mins later and still no picture on Harrys screens! Apparently Canal Plus football had changed its frequency and was no where to be found. The 2 Åke´s left for another venue but we others sat patiently and watched Elfsborg – IFK Göteborg ate spare ribs and drank Staropramen. With 20 mins left they found the frequency Kalmar were 1 up and never looked in trouble for the remainder of the game.

The after match interview with Alex Miller was embarrasing. The commentators english was even worse than Alex Millers.

AIK now play Helsingborg and then Djurgården if they dont show more fight than they did in the last 20 mins then they are in big trouble. 3 wins in a row and Kalmar FF are now closing in on a top 4 spot.

If you ever get the chance to watch ”The Million Dollar Catch” on TV Sport then do so. It´s a docusoap for real men!

Monday morning and autumn is definately here. I even had to get an extra blanket last night as i was freezing. I was up at 7.30 and had to watch Breakfast TV and see what i had missed. I watched last night when Ohly refused to sit in the same room as Jimmie Åkesson. I saw Mona´s speech telling everyone that this is serious now time and time again as if the last four years had been for fun. I saw a lot of women crying for different reasons and i saw reporters that didn´t have a clue what was going on. Great TV. This morning it was all about ”adult mobbing” and the victim was Jimmie Åkesson. Not a great signal to send to the youngsters. If they had let him have his chance in various ”media” debates in recent weeks i am sure the opposition could have cut his politics to pieces. Thats assuming they are as politically sharp as they think.

Lots to do at the office and JR is moving along nicely. Lansdowne.se Klubb site will soon be up and running and he has many interesting new ideas.

I went back to my old ”Ängo” run tonight. 3,4 km in the wind and rain. I am still not 100% in my hamstring but fit enough to manage a decent pace.

I said that Arsene Wenger wasn´t happy about the referee´s handling of the game against Sunderland. I read today that he has been charged by the FA for using abusive language.

Watching ”Superstars 2010″ whilst ”blogging”. I can´t say it looks that exciting. Weren´t a lot of the contestants in another similar programme recently?

Talking of similar programmes its now time for ”New York Wives”. Lets put it this way ”Skånefruar” are like the poor relations. The estate agent seemed nearly normal for a programme like this if living in a 300 million kronor apartment is normal. Ex stewardess Åsa reminded me of ”daffy duck” and need not worry about ageing mentally. Wife no 3 is living her daughters life as if it were here own and No 4 is an ex ”coconut babe”. Not really Anna Anka class but there´s potential.

Mental note. I must get a life.

Election day and i was at my asinged polling station at 12.00. I had Silver with me and its just a shame that our political discussion wasn´t broadcast live. Together we covered every aspect of the political spectrum and in the end came to the same conclusion that ”Promises are made to be broken”!

After a quick and not the greatest ever sunday lunch it was off home and in place on the sofa ready to watch Man Utd – Liverpool. Not the greatest first 45 mins with Liverpool content to play keep ball and with Man Utd not creating a great deal it came as a bit of a surprise when Berbatov headed United in front just before half time. Liverpool started the second half in a more positive manner and looked like making a game of it, when Nani crossed from the right and Berbatov brought the ball down on his thigh and with a acrobatic over head volley it was 2-0. When Liverpool are in trouble who do they call on? Stevie G ! A penalty and a free kick within 11 mins of Berbatovs second goal and it was all square again. To be honest it never looked like Liverpool would get a winner and with time running out Berbatov wrote his name into the history books with his third and become the first United player to score a hattrick against their biggest rivals Liverpool for 64 years!

Liverpool still have problems. Torres is a long way from form and his body language says he isn´t enjoying playing at the moment. Carragher is no longer Mr Reliable and Skrtel lacks quality. The only positive thing that you can say about Liverpools start is that they have already played Arsenal, Man Utd and Man City and now play a few ”weaker” sides in the next few weeks.

West Brom, Wigan, Stoke, West Ham and Blackpool ! What have these teams in common? They have all been run over by the big blue machine from South West London. Chelsea have scored 21 goals in 5 games and let in just 1. Next saturday they play Man City away. A win there and they really do mean business.

Time to see how the Election is going.
