A good week for the English sides in the Champions League. Four wins out of four. I nearly wrote the Brits but that wouldn´t really have been true. only 12 ”Brits” started the games. Arsenal and Chelsea had 2 each. That might be one of the reasons i can´t really get that excited when they win nowadays.

Jr, The Voice and myself played the ”Old Couse” at Kalmar GK again yesterday. Windy and cold once again and with the days getting ever shorter we wont be playing that many more rounds before the season finishes. The Voice was in great form yesterday and 37 points game him victory. Jr beat me into second place because of a better HCP. 0,1 being the difference!

”King of the Castle” for September reaches its climax today. Tord Elving is on 14 days and Joakim Jonsson and Gustav Eliesersson are just one behind. Tonights game Dortmund- Sevilla is the decider.

October has been given a little extra spice with the inclusion of two ”footballing celebrities”. Another ”gold digger” has hit the headlines in England. A prostitute has claimed she had sex with David Beckham in 2007 and also claims that if he drops his trousers she can prove that he has ”distinguishing characteristics” that would support her claims. I wonder if she is so stupid that she really thinks he has ”golden balls”!

Alex Miller is running out of time and excuses. Swedish players repond to discipline and hard work. They don´t respond to the 70´s British scare tactics.

Champions League again tonight. Ajax – Milan is the game for me. Zlatan has never scored against one of his ex sides. He could well rectify that tonight.

Kalmar FF play Örebro and with a win could be in with an outside chance of reaching Europe again next season.

I have just been for a run at ”Stensö”. We are still in september and it was time for the wolly hat and gloves. A good pace however and i am still weighing in at 88,6 kg.

Harry´s now and a hamburger and Staropramen as i cheer Kalmar FF to victory.

Great night in the company of Silver and the ”suspects”. Chilli con carne, Mamma Mia and Billy´s corner! Does it get any better? Åke 7 had some new jokes at last and the one about 15 million dollars, 2 whores and a gay was brilliant. Shame i cant remember all of it. I always love these occassions when everyone is in great form and after a few beers Silver puts on Mamma Mia and everyone thinks they are Björn and Benny and some sadly Agneta and Anni-Frid. Harrys is only 50 m from Silvers new flat so it didn´t take long to take our positions at Billy´s Corner. Uffe B and Thailands Lasse joined us there and everything from Staropramen to Mojito´s was ordered. I wont reveal who ordered the Mojito´s but i will say it is the same person who usually drinks Strawberry Daiquiries! Time flew by and it was home time before i knew it.

Lunch with Uffe B, Biggy and Silver. Mcdonalds was the chosen venue and it was a Caffe Latte for me and hamburgers for the others.

Back home in time to see United drop a couple more points. This time against Bolton who took the lead twice but couldn´t hold on. The Visat commentators did their best to tone things down regarding Johan Elmander but the truth of the matter is he should have scored at least 2 and won the game for Bolton. Instead he was made the ”hero” for his pass to Petrovs goal. He did give Vidic a tough time though and looked sharp except as usual in front of goal.

I missed most of the documentary about ”Fanerdun” the Chinese project in Kalmar that turned into a fiasco. I hope it will be shown again soon.

Visat footballs sunday programme was the best so far. Strömberg and Andersson in the studio means a much better quality of analysis. Niva and Sladjan just means a lot of facts and figures. Even Ola W is more at ease with Glenn and Ola!

A quiet ”After work” last night. A few pints, fish and chips and then home to watch ”Notorious” a film about the life of Biggie Smalls! A nice end to the week.

Up early on yet another sunny autumn day. A few calls to sort the evenings plans out and then prepare for an afternoon in the company of the Premier League. First up Man City – Chelsea. After 5 straight wins against mediocre opposition it was a hard day at the office. Man City defended well and Tevez scored a good opportunist goal. Otherwise not a game that will be remembered for quality football.

Talking about quality football, Arsenal at The Emirates is usually a cert for good free flowing entertainment. Not today however. They were beaten 3-2 by West Brom and took 70 mins to start playing. Almunia in Arsenal´s goal probably played his last match for some time. Arsenal were without 5-6 regulars due to injury but leaving both Rosicky and Wilshere on the bench left them short of creative ideas.

With Spurs getting beat by the ”Hammers” and Liverpool once again embarrassing themselves at Anfield (2-2 against Sunderland) it leaves Man Utd with a smile on their faces ahead of tomorrows game againt Bolton.

I am now of to ”Silver´s” for his house warming party or flat warming in this case and he has promised us a ”chilli con carne” special. Should be a good night.
