Another sunny day in Kalmar by the Sea. I had a quiet saturday night and woke early and after a quick breakfast i was off out for a run. Theres still a cold wind blowing and it felt like i was running into that wind for most of the 4,2 km. I also took 15 mins in the gym for my weights session. I then caught up with a few old friends on Facebook and had a chat with my brother in London and all seems to be fine on the home front. I haven´t been home now for 16 months and my concience has been weighing me down of late! I guess i have a dilema to deal with soon. Will it be Mallorca or London? Not an easy one is it?

Kalmar FF got a last minute equaliser against a GAIS side that had 5 regulars out and were embarrisingly poor in the first half. That says a lot about KFF at the moment. Defensively they are not recognisable from last year. Lantz and Lindberg were disasterous and had problems throughout the 90 mins. Petter Wastå has been Mr Reliable for years now but today he had a day to forget. The one positive factor from todays game was the fact that they again created chances and got players into the oppenents box. Sacremento´s last minute goal might hopefully be the turning point for the season. Örebro SK on wednesday wont be easy however.

Chelsea 7 Stoke 0. The pressures back on Man Utd. Ironically Liverpool can help United win the Championship if they beat or even draw with Chelsea at Anfield Road next weekend.

John Guidetti scored the second and put in Pinones Acre for the first as BP beat Gefle. He not only talks a good game he delivers as well. Lansdowne.se likes.

Zlatan scored one and put in Henry for another. He was still jeered by Barca fans throughout and his Barcelona career  might not be more than one season.

Fernando Torres says he is worried that if he plays another 3 or 4 seasons in the Premier League he might suffer chronic injuries. Sounds like he wants back to sunny Spain asap!

Princess Madeleine is now single again. If i can just lose a few more pounds i might be in with a chance!

Saturday afternoon and a quick stop at Macky Ds for a McFeast, side salad and a glass of ice water on my way to watch Lindsdals IF´s first home fixture of the season. Lindsdals IF have relocated this season and have built a fantastic new club house with all the modern facilities i am sure many a larger club in Sweden would love to have. They have also taken the step from grass to an artificial surface and strenghtened the first team squad and at the same time bringing in a new trainer. All is geared for a great season and i for won have said get a bet on Lindsdal to win Div 2 this year. After todays performance a 1-0 home defeat against Kenty i am having a few doubts.

Lindsdal have over the years built up a reputation for playing good one and two touch football with good movement and the emphasis on getting players forward. An artificial playing surface should be perfect for their game but today we didn´t see a lot of Lindsdals signum style of play. Too many players taking far to long on the ball nowhere near enough movement and very little one and two touch passing. Having said this they created a few early chances thanks to Juan Gomez speed and movement he unfortunately didn´t finish as he had hoped. Getting the right balance in a side is of course important and at the moment their are too many square pegs in round holes. If you play with just one lone striker you need to give him close support and not just hit long balls and wish him good luck. I hope they sort things out quickly and show us their full potential.

PK´s Bergkvara lost to Johnny Erlandsson´s RM 3-1. First blood to JE.

My old club West Ham beat Wigan 3-2 and will be a Premier League side even next season. The big question is with or without Zola ?

I read on ”fotbollskanalen.se” that TV4 have strengthened their squad ahead of their coverage of this summers World Cup. ”Nora Strandberg returns” was the headline and that was fine but when i read that it was because of her knowledge of the English game i nearly fell of the sofa. The fact that you present a programme on the Premier League doesn´t make you an expert. That being the case Hasse Aro would make a great bank robber!!

14 mins 27 seconds for 3 km on the treadmill is a personal best. I didn´t really feel like training as my day had slowly gone from bad to worse and i guess it was pure adrenalin that first made for a personal best time and then allowed me to give the punch bag a good hammering! Luckily enough it was well chained to the ceiling!! After a long shower and a home cooked pasta and steak i had finally managed to cool down.

Junior has had a good week with Lansdowne.se Klubb helping the lower league clubs to earn a little extra cash. New ideas and products are always appreciated!

Yesterday i did a bit of networking with MIK a local marketing network that had invited in three guest speakers to share their thoughts on advertising in all medias. I always have difficulty concentrating on occassions like these and i always feel that most ”speakers” could make their point in half the time. However their were some interesting theories and of course bits of information that i can use in my own marketing ideas. I did however have an enjoyable after work with Wilson Jacob and a few of the other members of MIK.

Lindsdals IF will tomorrow be playing their first ever competitive match on their new artificial pitch and hopefully their will be a good crowd to cheer them on.

Its looking like it might be an English winner in the April ”King of the Castle”. Hammers Gary is in the ”tipping form” of his life. 3 up with 8 to go.

PK´s Bergkvara are away to RM from Öland tonight. RM´s trainer is our old team mate Johnny Erlandsson and their is a lot of prestige involved in this one.

Physical condition control day with Dr Johnny today. Its been exactly 6 months since my first visit to Dr J and i am both pleased and proud to say i have reached the targets we set. I am now 89,2 kg which is under the 90 kg target. A total weight loss of 16 kg since i decided something must be done. My BMI is now 25 and that was the goal. Stomach measurement 96 cm which is reduction of 12 cm and last but not least my oxygen intake which is really the best proof that i am now in better condition than i have been for years. It has gone from 27 to 39 and i am now in the better than average zone for my age.

Whats the next step? Increase my oxygen intake to 50! Dr J says it can be done so i will be giving it a shot. I have no idea what is required but i do know it will take a lot of hard work. I will increase my normal running distance from 3 to 5 km and will be doing a lot more gym work! My next control date is in the middle of June and i should be ready for beach 2010 by then!

After my meeting with Dr J it was 9 holes of golf on the menu. Junior wanted to once again put me in my place. After the first hole and a double bogey 5 i feared the worse. But after 6 pars in a row Junior was a beaten man. If it had been a boxing match Juniors corner man would have thrown in the towel after the 5th when he hit 2 drives so far right they landed in the next county.

All in all not a bad day.
