As i predicted yesterday Tevez was a pain in the arse for Man Utd. He is the sort of player that is infectious for his team mates. A non stop trier with great ability and an inbuilt desire and passion to do well. Had he still played for the reds the tie would now be all over. The return match at Old Trafford next wednesday could well be another thriller.
The remote control was working over time yesterday alternating between the handball and football. It looked good for the new handball generation and the first 4 or 5 chanel changes gave a positive score line. I unfortunately managed to catch the last 2 mins and saw the Slovenian side take the lead for the first time in the match 26-25 with only seconds remaining and then hold on to win. Baring in mind both tonights opponents Poland and the fourth group member Germany are probably better than Serbia the chances of a medal are slim.
Talking of slim. 92.7 kg is todays weight.
Off to Jönköping and Elmia tomorrow. Both Noodles and Snäcken have been on the phone and are keyed up for tomorrows events.
”Silly Season” has been quiet both in Sweden and in England. Todays most interesting speculation in England was that Arsenal have made a bid for Fulhams central defender Chris Smalling. Who you might ask? A price tag of around 90 million SEK for a 20 year old who played for amateur side Maidstone untill 2008. This could be a fairy tale in the making.
Family Guy is fast becoming a favourite!
Handball time now! Heja Sverige
